On the July 27th episode of Wowowin, a very special and unexpected guest came to visit host Willie Revilliame that led the programs to stop for the mean time.
According to GMA News Online, Revilliame was stunned seeing his former neighbor, Aling Juaning, who lived in a room opposite theirs in Caloocan.
Revilliame shared his back story during the time when his life was still different and how Aling Juaning was part of that.
“Kasi natira ako dati sa, kung hindi n’yo alam, sa Caloocan, Bliss. Tama ba ‘yun, maliit na kuwarto lang, sa Blue Spot — Tapos naglilinis ako ng jeep, nagkukrudo, nakikinood din ako ng TV sa tindahan.
Naalala n’yo ba ‘yon? Kayo po ba ‘yong kapitbahay namin doon sa kuwarto?”
Revilliame continued to recall the memories and openly shared it to the viewing public.
“Pag wala akong makain, ‘di ba nakikikain ba ako sa inyo,” he admitted despite the refusal of the old lady to share that part of the story.
“Bakit di mo sasabihin, ‘yun ang totoo. Anong pagkain namin lagi? Alam n’yo bang ako ang nagsasaing, ‘yung tubig hanggang dito. ‘Yung kapatid ko inaalagaan ko, ‘yung dalawa, si Albert tsaka ‘yung isa pa. Ako nagsasaing, ako lahat. Alam n’yo ba ‘yung gatas ng kapatid ko, ‘yung am. Wala kaming pera, mahirap lang ang buhay namin.
Hindi ako nakakakain ng fried chicken nun, wala lahat ‘yan kasi lagi kami sardinas sa nanay ko at mga tuyo, ‘yan,” he continued.
Revilliame has reached far but despite his success, he refused to not look back. In gratitude of the old lady, he gave Aling Juaning a jacket, television and P20,000 cash as gifts.
