Another honesty story have went viral after a passenger named Engel Bert shared his inspiring encounter with an honest taxi driver. He admitted that the encounter seemed surreal, he never thought that those facebook inspiring stories actually happened in real life, much more would it happen to himself.
“Akala ko sa facebook lang tlga nag eexist mga ganitong tao, hindi ko inexpect na maeexperience ko din to.”
“lumipas na mga 30-45mins nung napagtanto ko na nawawala yung cellphone ko — Pero d ako kinabahan, feeling ko talaga mabait si Manong,” he said and his intuition was right.
“almost 3hrs na, trinay namen tawagan ulit CP ko, ayun! may sumagot! Si manong! tapos sabi nya muntik na daw nya ibigay dun sa pangalawang pasahero kasi akala nya sa kanila yun. ibabalik na nya sana dun sa huling pasahero, sakto pag tawag namin, sinagot nya, kaya nalaman nya kung kanino tlaga yun,” Engel Bert continued to narrate.
Furthermore, what shocked him the most was not only the honesty of the driver to admit that he left the phone but his insistence to go to them instead.
With the continues struggle of people to rise from poverty, we don’t meet this type of people on a daily basis anymore.
