Even after getting her ring stuck on her swollen finger, Ellen Adarna still managed to laugh and joke about the incident.
In her Instagram post, she jokingly said that the proposal failed, and further joked "I'm not losing this finger."
Ellen was rushed to the hospital on August 28 (Sunday) to have the ring removed from her finger.
However the ring had to be cut by the doctors in order to save her index finger.
"WTF #comedy. They had to cut the ring and saved my finger hahaha. bye.#ringentrapment #dinnerdatereward for surviving and saving my index finger," she captioned on her post on Sunday.
