The six-year-old disabled girl was asked by 4 boys to play a game with them. A blind fold was put around her eyes and they led her to the toilet room of the school.
After that, tragic news happened to her. She was assaulted by the 4 boys. Two of them were standing outside the toilet block as the two others were doing their business. She tried to scream out but they muffled her with toilet paper.
The Illawara Region School only found out about the abuse when the Kindergarten student went back to their class with her uniform inside out.
The mother plans to sue the Department of Education because they failed to protect the child suffering from intellectual and physical disabilities.
“She was calling for mummy and that is when they used the toilet paper to shut her up,” the mother said. “The boys had been targeting younger and vulnerable kids. She is suffering from nightmares and flashbacks all the time. The stress is insurmountable.”
According to the police reports, the boys were aged 5 and 9 but the daughter identified the four boys as aged 8-11.
“We believe that there was at least one other student who may have suffered abuse at this school.”
