At one point of our lives, we’ve all received passive aggressive notes, haven’t we?
They’re usually annoying and obnoxious, which is why we instantly crumple them up and throw it in the bin.
However, as a veteran, you might feel differently.
Especially when the letter accuses you of faking a serious injury. And that’s exactly what happened to a man when he parked in a handicapped spot.
This veteran is handicapped.
But, he doesn’t have to have a sticker under Texas law. His “disabled veteran” license plates show that he needs his parking privileges.
Naturally, he was furious when he read this passive aggressive note.
The veteran felt the need to respond
He wrote a response and posted it online on Facebook, it hardly took any time to go viral. “First and foremost: In the state of Texas, if a vehicle has DISABLED VETERAN license plates, that vehicle is not required BY LAW, to have a handicapped placard displayed, nor a handicapped emblem on the license plate UNLESS that vehicle is parked on FEDERAL property. Although I may not ‘look’ handicapped to you, I can assure you that the amount of pain I feel in my lower body from walking due to combat-sustained injuries far supersedes any level of pain you have ever felt in your entire life.”
