// Yesterday, Jhong Hilario surprised everyone for walking out during the “It’s Showtime” segment “Tawag Ng Tanghalan”. Hit the play button and watch the reason why he suddenly left the show.
The day will not be completed when the “It’s Showtime” hosts won’t bully their co-host when the camera is rolling and yesterday, it was Jhong Hilario’s who played as a victim during the on-cam kulitan that pulled out his last straw.
The kulitan started when Jhong Hilario requested to at least give him a little bit of exposure during the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” since his only role in the segment was to hit the gong when the contestants didn’t meet the expectation of the judges. Hosts Vhong Navarro and Anne Curtis granted his request by doing a short skit with Amy Perez.
Vhong Navarro suggested that the scene to be performed will be a tragic one wherein Jhong Hilario would play as a dying father while Anne will play as his daughter and Vhong as Anne’s lover. Amy Perez, on the other hand, played as Jhong’s wife.
At first, Jhong quite doubted about his role because it felt that it won’t showcase his acting skills but in the end, he sportly did his best to give justice to the role until “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” judge Carla Estrada interrupted. She jokingly said that the scene was too noisy which made Jhong to feel upset.
While Kyla was giving her comment to the contestant, Jhong left the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” stage, took-off his colourful barong and jokingly threat everyone not to set foot in Makati.
