A well-toned lean body is considered to be a symbol of being fit and healthy. According fitness trainer, Sean Nalewanyj’s blog, the key for building muscle is to eat in a caloric surplus and to get stronger.

He also mentioned that the energy coming in should be more than the energy going out in order to build muscles. Lifting heavier weights at a time can help in muscle growth and fat loss. Muscle gain will not be lost as fat is burned if a person maintains consistency in basic weight training approach.

Cardio exercises can also trigger in burning and shredding fat but it should never be overdone. In the initial stages it is advised to have 2 to 3 cardio sessions and then gradually increase.

Diet also plays a major role in fat loss along with exercises. So, it is possible to loose fat without losing muscle with the help of proper training, exercise and a good diet.
