Man Found This ‘Cure For All Diseases’ And The Supreme Court Agrees With Him!

An herbal guru named Dr. Sebi, or Alfredo D. Bowman, says he can cure all diseases, such as obesity, lupus, cancer, diabetes, and AIDS.

According to Dr. Sebi, people became sick because of “plaques” that clog our bodies, and the only way to de-clog the bodily systems is by taking natural “alkaline herbs” and “electrical foods” such as fresh, seedless fruits, mushrooms, herbal teas, nuts and seeds, and white bread without starch.

“I’m removing plaque from the system. I’m removing inflammation. That is the base of all disease[s],” Dr. Sebi told CBS News.

He established Usha Village, located in La Cieba, Honduras, where patients stay to cleanse their bodies and be cured for P70,523 ($1,500) per person (for seven days).

Dr. Sebi has a long list of famous patients. They include: King of Pop Michael Jackson, basketball legend Magic Johnson, actor John Travolta, and TLC’s Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes.

But he is not really a doctor. He calls himself a “healer.” That’s why the American Medical Association (AMA) sued him for “practicing without a license” in 1988. He took the case to the Supreme Court in New York and won!

Dr. Stephen Barrett, M.D., however, is not impressed.

“Anyone who found a simple way to cure any of these conditions would make headlines everywhere and probably win the Nobel Prize. Do you think he ever will?” Dr. Barrett wrote in Quackwatch.org.

Barrett questioned whether the “research” performed on Dr. Sebi’s products have undergone rigorous testing, like the other clinical and pharmaceutical trials. He also accused Dr. Sebi of casually using medical terms for his company’s benefit.

The healing guru won the case, Barrett says, because on a technicality that he wasn’t really making “medical diagnoses” or “prescribing medicines.” (Most of Dr. Sebi’s patients were diagnosed before coming to him for help.)

Dr. Sebi’s products also lost a civil case filed by Shirley Stark, former head of New York Attorney General’s (NYAG’s) Consumer Fraud department, in 1993. Because of this lawsuit, Dr. Sebi cannot say his products can cure AIDs and other diseases.
