Liza Soberano meets her ‘idol’ popstar Selena Gomez.
Selena arrived in the Philippines yesterday for the Manila leg of her “Revival” tour. She was mobbed by screaming fans at Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA-2).
Local celebrities are also excited to meet the “Hands to Myself” singer.
Liza Soberano posted a picture of her and Selena hugging each other.
“I’m in love with @selenagomez She’s such a beautiful person inside and out. It makes me so happy when I idolize the right person,” Liza wrote on Instagram.
Netizens couldn’t help but compare the two.
“Liza took a pic with her because she’s a fan, but damn, pinantayan niya si Selena, nalagpasan pa nya ganda nya,” netizen Stan Stanley said.
An out-and-proud Soberano fan Camille Damalerio disagrees. She said, “Fan ako ni Liza, pero mas maganda pa din si Selena. Manikang manika mukha nya.”
Earlier this year, a website Wonderslist compiled a list of the most beautiful women in the world for 2016. Selena and Liza ranked 1st and 2nd respectively.
