Regine Velasquez grateful for extended family’s support

Regine Velasquez’s extended family attended the launch of her cookbook Aside from her husband Ogie Alcasid, Michelle Van Eimeren and husband Mark Morrow, and Ogie and Michelle’s daughters, also came Regine said the set-up works for them and she’s happy that they’re always supporting her Regine Velasquez is overwhelmed with the support she received from her extended family during the launch of her very own cookbook “Bongga Sa Kusina” on Sunday, July 17 at Eastwood Mall. Leading the pack of her support system is her husband, Ogie Alcasid. Ogie’s former wife,  Michelle Van Eimeren and her family; which includes the former couple’s teen daughters, Leila and Sarah and Michelle’s husband, Mark Morrow, also came to show their support for Regine. The “Asia’s Songbird” told GMA News Online: “Ganyan talaga ang family ko (My family is like that). They’re always supporting whatever I do. For them, this is a big thing. And it is. It really is a big thing. I’m happy that they’re all here.” Regine said in her previous interviews that though it may be hard for others to believe that she and Michelle are friends, that’s the truth because when Michelle and Ogie separated, they decided to raise their daughters [...]
