April Boy Regino Admits He’s Almost Blind But Remains Positive and Hopeful About His Condition

Every 90s kid and up would know the songs “Di ko kayang Tanggapin” and “Ye ye Vonel”. These songs became a viral hit way back early 2000s. And this proves that the man behind it, April Boy Regino is not yet long forgotten.
But ever wondering how is he doing the past few years?

Well, this 90’s Jukebox King have been suffering eye problems and have been struggling seeing since. He admitted that his eyesight is slowly deteriorating and he is yet to recover from it. According to him, he can no longer see light and has been merely recognizing. With this, his live performances became limited.

But despite this, our 90s idol still remains positive and hopeful while focusing on his restaurant where he is hands-on.
He said;

He also shared how friends and family strengthen him in this endeavor. This surprisingly include President Rodrigo Duterte who helps him financially.
He is also staying firm in his faith with God and said “Ang lahat naman hiram sa Kanya; nahiram ko ang mata kinuha Niya. Malay mo ‘di ba magkaroon muli ako ng mata. Pag-asa, may pag asa pa,”
