The victim was identified in an InterAksyon article as Sang Kwan An, a Korean carrying a passport with number M21656215. His travel documents showed he was born July 27, 1966. He reportedly arrived in the country on board Cebu Pacific Flight no. 5J311 from Taipei. The man turned out to be a fugitive from South Korea as his name came up on the Interpol’s black list. An is reportedly wanted in his country over an investment scam case amounting to $700,000. In an interview with GMA News, a Department of Transportation (DOTr) official confirmed An’s death. “Ang nangyari [What happened was], he came in 3:30 a.m., (Cebu Pacific) 5J flight from Taipei.
