Homeland Security reported two Canadian teens inadvertently crossing the US border while being distracted from playing Pokemon Go The teenagers were apprehended near Sweet Grass, Montana and picked up by border patrol agents The two players were briefly detained and then reunited with their mother at a patrol station on the Canadian side ALBERTA, Canada – Homeland Security reported two Canadian teens who inadvertently committed an international crime as they crossed the border while being distracted from playing Pokemon Go. The two teenagers, which are both from Coutts, Alberta, were busy with their phone and was fully engaged in the location-based Pokemon Go app, when they lost track of which country they were in, crossing illegally into the US on Thursday.
