Homeless Pinay Artist's Dream Came True After Having Her Own Exhibit Where The Pieces Were Sold Out!

A homeless Filipina artist who is selling her artwork to earn a living and support her needs for less than half a dollar got a big break after her story went viral on social media sites.

The artist named Coco Torre heard about the story of the homeless artist from a friend named Eric Madrazo and they had a brilliant idea of letting her have her own exhibit.

But finding the woman was not easy, it took them several weeks to find the woman who is wandering in the streets of Manila.

They saw her sitting along the road on her birthday. Hundreds of people arrived at the said event held at the A Space Manila. Hours after the exhibit opened, more than 40 artworks that were displayed were sold out.

All of the proceeds of the sales was given to the woman to have a fresh start.

After the exhibit, she will return to her hometown in Iloilo and buy a lot and build a house for her family.
