Coleen Garcia talks about her first MMK Stint saying that she couldn't say no when the role was offered to her.
"Excited syempre. Sobrang Excited! It was not something I will pass on." she said.
She faced a tough role playing as Pauleen, a teenager who was suffering from multiple mental disorders.
"I really wanted to give justice to my role, the story, everything -- gusto ko talaga gawin ng tama kasi if I'm only gonna do this once, this role, then I might as well give my all." she said. She said she had to study all the mental disorder Pauleen had in order to properly give justice to the character.
"Kung hindi ko ibibigay lahat, I'd end up regretting it in the future."
She was also asked what was the most challenging scene for her however she said it wasn't the scene in particular but how she needed to portray Pauleen as childish.
"What challenged me most about the role was yung kailangan ko magpakabata ulit, yung yung pinakasimple but yung yung pinaka kailangan malaki ang difference."
"You really have to try to understand people more. You can't limit one person with one word -- Ang lalim nating lahat eh-- This is also so much about the world that we don't understand, so much about different people."
