in the French city
Online hacking group Anonymous has issued a chilling warning to the
terrorist group behind Thursday's terror attack in Nice, saying we will
track them down.
Anonymous posted a video statement on YouTube on Friday saying " to defend our values and our freedom, we're tracking down members of the terrorist group responsible for these attacks."
"We
have already expressed our determination to neutralize anybody who will
attack our freedom. We'll be doing the same now...expect a total
mobilization on our part."
The group launched #OpParis campaign in November 2015 following the
Paris terror attack and claimed to have taken down pro-ISIS Twitter
accounts.
He stuffed weapons and a grenade into a rucksack before cycling from his home to pick up the 19 tonne lorry parked nearby.
Posing as an ice cream delivery man, he then drove onto Nice’s famous Promenade des Anglais to carry out his attack.
Bouhlel’s relatives described him as an “unlikely jihadist” who drank alcohol and took drugs.
His ex-wife’s cousin Walid Hamou said the killer never attended mosque and was “a nasty piece of work”.
The dad-of-three ploughed through terrified tourists and locals who had gathered to watch the Bastille Day fireworks.
