The new MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal has confirmed that the Office for Transportation (OTS), a line agency of the Department of Transportation (DOT) which oversees the security screeners, has been effectively abolished with the new order. The MIAA will supervise airport screeners working in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). The CAAP, on the other hand, will supervise those working in the provincial airports.
