Evaporated Milk vs. Sweetened Condensed Milk
Evaporated milk is a shelf table milk with 60% less water with no sweeteners or flavorings. On the other hand condensed milk is evaporated milk with sugar added.
Pure Cranberry Juice vs. Cranberry 100% Juice vs. Cranberry Juice Cocktail
The dark one is the actual juice of cranberries. There is no real substitute for pure cranberry juice. However, cranberry 100%juice and cranberry juice cocktail taste similar.
Parsley vs. Cilantro
The simple way to find out the difference is the one with the rounded tips is cilantro.
Lemon vs. Meyer Lemon
They are similar but Meyer lemons come with smoother skin and are less tart.
Baking Soda vs. Baking Powder
Baking soda is a pure alkaline and it needs to be mixed with an acid where as baking powder contains baking soda and it just needs to be mixed with liquid and gas to be released.
Plain Yogurt vs. Vanilla Yogurt

Red Cabbage vs. Radicchio
Red cabbage is crunchier and has waxy leaves that are denser than radicchio’s. Red cabbage is crunchier, thicker and can be cooked while radicchio is a bitter salad green.
Scallion vs. Shallot
A scallion is a long green leaf with tiny white bulb. A shallot is solid and has no leaves.
Radish vs. Beet
Radishes have bright red skin with white flesh whereas the beets have dark, reddish-purple skin with flesh of the same colour.
