BATANG GILAS MEMBER BLOCKS STEPHEN CURRY's 3 POINT ATTEMPT

// 17-year-old Gian Mamuyac is now starting to live his dream after successfully blocking two-time NBA MVP Steph Curry during his signature three-point shot attempt. Watch the following video to witness how it happened.

The Taiwan leg of the Golden State Warriors’ SC30 Asia Under Armour tour marked history due to the incredible moment when a 17-year-old basketball player blocked Golden State star player Steph Curry during his three-point shot attempt. In the last five seconds of the quarter, Steph Curry summoned his signature last second three-point winning shot but got defeated by a young Gilas Player named Gian Mamuyac.

After the historical block, Curry proudly confirmed that the young player blocked him without incurring any foul. He gave Mamuyac a high five and gestured that it was a great defense. Same with Curry, Mamuyac looked overjoyed with the one of a kind achievement.

Other than earning praise from the NBA Superstar, Mamuyac also earned an MVP honor during the tour and a spot in the SC30 Basketball Camp which will be held in the USA.
Gian Mamuyac also plays for the Ateneo Blue Eagles men’s basketball squad.
