Filipino Netizens on Train To Busan Fever: Compares Film To MRT Struggles! Here’s Why!

Before the expected arrival of the zombie-apocalypse thriller film, Train to Busan, in the Philippines, the movie has already made its rounds all over social media and resulted to a lot of netizens practically going crazy for an exhilarating watch!
This Korean film earned a great deal of market just by word of mouth that started ever since its premiere in this year’s Cannes Film Festival. By then, people not just from Korea are talking about it on the internet. It became a trending topic even here, in the Philippines.

Filipinos can’t seem to stop talking about how awesome Train to Busan is.Based on their reviews and comments, what captured the heart of these netizens was its cleverly-plotted story. Many had made remarks that the movie was “more than just a zombie flick” and consisted of mixed drama and suspense. After all, what’s a Korean film without a pint of melodrama?
The funny part is, some netizens compared the film to the Philippine’s MRT Train to Taft saying that there’s no seen difference from the horrifying train in the film to our very own.

There are memes and droll posts spreading all over Facebook and Twitter showing edited photos of the MRT Train imitating the train in the film.
Here are some tweets of the netizens sharing how the struggle of the MRT commuters makes them already zombies themselves. From the long lines and pushing your body just to fit inside the train, and the ever striving for air! Some even said that riding the MRT is worse than being on the Train to Busan!

With the limited modes of transportation and the unnerving traffic every day in the Philippines, most people are left with no choice but to ride the MRT and channel their inner zombies.
